Tradtional Lit.

Im my childrens lit. class we are studying traditional lit. So I had to go to the book store to find a version of Cinderella from another culture. Almost evey culture has a similar story. I chose and Egyptian one. It was interesting to see all the difference. Anyways while we were there Matt searched for his 2 favorite books from when he was a kid. The first was King Goodbid's in the Bathtub and the second was the Rainbow Goblins this one was a little creepy but I can see why he liked it. The pictures were amaizing. I thought it was really neat that he remebered these books. School is going good. I got and A on my first test of the semester. It is starting to get warmer. This week we got up to 60.Ugh I started doing our taxes this week. That is just so much fun. But I guess it's worth the refund!

..and that other guy who had the birthday. Presidents day was numerous amounts of fun. I can't even tell you what a good time we had, seriously. Ok Ok I'll tell you, you don't have to be bossy. We drank, we gambled and we did other things that sinners do. It was a Hell of a time (haha get it). Ugh I didn't do so great at the craps tables and niehter did Chris. Maybe I bragged to much about my winnings last time. It was really fun even if I lost. We hung out at the casinos and went up to lake Tahoe. Here's my brilliant idea..its February, so lets take a picnic to the beach. Uh yeah there is like 7 feet of snow on the ground. Duh, this is Nevada not Hawaii. So we ate those sammies for dinner instead. We went to the comedy show and that was really fun. Going there puts you in a good mood for the rest of the night. All in all I think we should celebrate other presidents birthdays. I mean whats so great about just these guys, thier dead! Why don't we celebrate the guys that are alive.

The San Frnsico treat! Oh boy I am a happy camper. Jess and I are headed to San Fran for a weekend of sister bonding (like we really need more of that) and shopping and an all around sweet time! We are going March 20-23. We are staying at a very posh hotel, The Sir Francis Drake Hotel, sounds spendy I know. But we got a raging deal. I think because it's Easter weekend. I think we will go to Alcatraz, maybe surfing, and hook up with a few of my friends that live there and have a night on the town. We had super coordination skills. I have to fly into Oakland and she flys into SF airport but we will both be using mass transit (ahh! scary) to meet up. Hope I don't end up on the wrong side of the tracks!
Also I think Chris and Monica will be coming out for Presidents day next week. So I have a busy few weeks ahead. But then I have Spring Break. I think I will just stay home and enjoy not having to go to school everyday. I am feeling better also. I am still sick but I have some energy back. what else..oh Matt got me a stun gun. it's a little scary but I feel better and so does he. I carry it when I have a night class and have to walk through the parking lot. School is going ok, I'm kind of in the routine of things now. Well that's it for now.

Today I am Sick.....

of my job. I got a really sweet written verbal warning. If I am correct and I think I am, if you write a warning it would be a written warning and if you simply speak the warning then it would be verbal. But what do I know, I'm only have a higher education than all 5 of the people in this department and I haven’t even graduated. Yeah because I sent an email out and it didn't go through was grounds for a warning. Ok whatever, this place needs a scape goat and I am it. It's pretty hard not to have every mistake you make big or small pointed out when you have 5 bosses. Oh and I am actually sick so it's a really great Monday so far. The weekend was just stellar too. Saturday I was sick, I went to the library and did homework and cleaned our really messy house. Sunday was sicky again an we didn't end up going to Richard's for the game because matt got called out and I didn't feel like going all the way out there by myself. anyways enough whining. Here’s a great fact about rabbits for Jess, and it doesn't concern eating them.
Angora Rabbit fur is highly prized in knitting because it is so soft. Angora rabbits shed several times during the year and their fur is easily spun into yarn. Here are some funny bunnies.

Am I living in Reno or Alaska?

Ok it has snowed everyday for the past weekend a half. It is freezing; I have to walk outside a lot. I do not like it. I am ready for summer, but not bathing suits.
Oh we let the little bunny man go. He hopped off in a real hurry. He was really cute and Heman and Conan both found him very interesting. Heman didn't really want to chase him, he was just interested in stick his little paw out to touch him. It was really cute.
The second week of shcool in officially done and I am feeling very overwhelmed. Between my 2 classes that I have to read 12 very grown up books in, including the bible (don't get me started) and the class that I have to read 40 children’s books I' kinda freaking out. So far I have been keeping up and if I can continue to make sure I don't fall behind in the reading I think I will be ok. But of course you can't just read the books you have to analyze them and dig deep in to that part of your brain that you rarely use on purpose and make it come up with brilliant thought and ideas to share. It's a real bitch. I think that next semester I will have enough credits tobe a substitute teacher. So I might bag the current position and make my schedual so that I can sub 3 days a week. It pays about 80 bucks if you work more than 4 hours. So that coould work out pretty good. Plus I would be getting some much needed experience for a good resume.
We are going to Richard's house (Matt's Boss) for the superbowl. I am going to make deviled eggs and a crudeta or veggie plate for all you amatures. It should be fun.
