It's about time, it's about space, it's about time to spal your face!

Just kidding! It's just time for an update. I've been a little busy so back off! I have cleaned carpets, attended a Mary Kay party, got Matt new work boots, went out with Jazzy for a girls night. That was all in one weekend. hen tonight I have mani's and pedi's with a co-worker and a friend from San Fransisco and we are going out to dinner. Dinner you say but I thougth you were on Jenny!? Yes I am but I can still eat salads. So far I have lost almost 10 pounds in 4 weeks. So I am pretty happy about it. I also am very looking forward to this weekend because my sister, brother-in-law and dad are all coming to visit me. Cause Reno Rocks! We are going to spend a day on the beach at the lake and go to the comedy club cause that's always fun. So I can't wait. I even took Friday off work. So there's the whole scoop!

Yard sale Maddness!!!

On Saturday Jaslin and I hit the yard sales full force. We had some great finds. I think I spent a total of like 10 dollars and got all this cool stuff!


I got this awesome game board for only 7 bucks. it has craps, black jack and roulette all in one!


I found this gorgeous pot to put my spider plant in. It has out grown it's old one because I actually take care of it and don't kill it.



This stand was only 3 dollars. I know it's sideways so use your neck OK. It looks so cute on the patio it just needs a plant! I think it might become a herb garden. But that is very ambitious.

No not another earthquake! But that's how much I lost. I was pretty happy about that. So far this is working well. I don't expect to lose that much next week. More like 2 but either way, I am losing! Thank you Jenny, you sly girl.

It was truly Rockin' this weekend

We went over to Jazzy and Chris's and jammed out on Rock Band. I must say that while I can master the guitar and mic those drums are REDUNKULOUS! Please like this is a game people. Do you really need the foot pedal. At one point I was both drumming and singing, umm that lasted about 3 seconds. But it was really fun. Right now I just got the crap scared out of me because there was a big clap of thunder! It is raining here, which is good. I hope it cleans up our air. Tonight I go get weighed in, so wish me luck. I tried my very hardest this week. A few little slip ups (that damn delicious cupcake) but I have mostly been right on track. In fact I'm hungry right now so I must be doing good!! Isn't that the sign of a good diet?

Well, it's midnight

about 12:15 to exact. Matt is out on a call. Apparently a driver carrying a load of biological specimens is quite concerned, seeing as if it gets to warm all of Reno might be at risk. So I hope he fixes it and fast!! But why am I up. Because I freakin' relapsed and ate a damn cup cake and now I have a sugar rush. UGH! I was doing so good and then of course I offer to make cup cakes for a baby shower at work. And of course they turn out perfect, even made them without papers so you can see the nice white cake against the most beautiful baby blue frosting. They are gorgeous, and I ate one. I have the best of intentions but that perfect cupcake got the better of me damn it! It's ok though because today is already a new day. Just start over.



So far the food has been pretty good other than a soup I didn't really like. I furthered my success by going to the farmers market after work and getting a great bunch of beautiful fruits and veggies. Our farmers market is a little different than most. Since it is Reno, it's mostly about getting drunk and all the high school kids come out. But they also sell produce to those who are still able to function. The rest of the week is looking good. We have a BBQ with friends this weekend but I will be eating my meal and brining a salad. Yes sir!

Boom- Shackalaka

That is the sound my big butt makes. But hopefully not for long. I started Jenny Craig. It is only day 2 but I have been doing well. I haven't cheated and I have really like the food. Isn't all frozen or dry stuff like cereal or bars. But it all tastes good so far. I am hoping this will cure my weight problems. I decided to do Jenny because they give you all your food, and with school going to start again soon I just won't have the time to cook they way I should when on a diet. Matt was very supportive and isn't even complaining that he has to eat qusadillas and bean burritos. My goal is to lose about 30 pounds. If i stick with it and lose 2 a week that will take 15 weeks. So it's not that bad. I share all this info because even though I am a little heavy most of you know I lack no confidence. I don't really feel ugly just a little jiggly, you know. So I will keep everyone updated on my losses, and hopefully I will reach my goal.

It was grounds for camping

So I rate my camping trip 3 out of 5 stars. I was interesting to say the least. It gets the first star simply because we got out of the house and went somewhere and I wasn't eaten by a bear or any other animal. Star 2 comes from our friend Chris and Jaslin. They definitely made it bearable and yes at times fun. The third star comes from all the wild antics that happened over the course of 3 days. Here are the high lites. I won't bore you with all the in between. One night we didn't eat dinner until midnight because the other couple camping with us, the lady to be exact, just had to make baked potatoes in the fire. They took an hour and were completely burned. Um brilliant to say the least. I bought a fishing license and fished all of 10 min. because it was boring to the max. On another instance Matt & I walked down to the bathroom and it was dark. We get to the potty and some obese woman is bellering about a man being in the woman's bathroom. Well it was a little old lady and her husband was just there so she wouldn't be scared. But this lady went all crazy and to the camp host. You could hear her all the way across camp. Well later we went back before bed and wowie big surprise there was poop smeared all over the freakin door and handle. I just about threw up that burned baked potato all over the place. So the camp host had to deal with that too. And come to find out he was pretty sure it was fatty that did it. Ugh. There was also an incident where the lady we were with got real drunk and was sure Matt was a lizard. This is what I had to deal with people. It was a crazy good time. I also took a shower in my bathing suit about 20 feet from the road. That was fun, plenty of honking. To top it off I forgot shampoo and only had conditioner. I was luck to even get a shower at all though. Anyways, I did a lot of complaining as you can imagine, I mean it's just what I do. But it wasn't bad enough to swear me off it. I think we might be going again in a few weeks. Lucky me. Actually i want to add one more star for the excellent strawberry margaritas and the banana shakes. Yummy in my tummy.

We'll see what it equals. I am keeping an open mind. I was a great camper as a kid. Mostly because I didn't care about taking showers or brushing my hair, or eating a hot dog that fell into the fire. But now days I'm all about personal hygine and that stuff. So we will see. Plus it's going to be really hot. I'm sure it will be fun but you may want to be prepared for a post camping post full of compliants about bugs and tents and the outdoors in general.
