Vegas...you know how to treat a lady!

What can I say, we had fun..too much fun. So tired. Here's the dirty run down. We saw Sir Elton John in concert..best ever! We saw Chris Angel do tricks and take his shirt off and then proceeded to rip Perez Hilton a new one. We went to Pink Taco t eat yummy shrimp tacos. We danced till the morning light. We went to the wax museum and saw many famous faces. It was pretty much the best Vegas trip I have ever been on. I love going with just Jess and Katch because we really get along pretty well and we watch out for each other and make sure we are all having a good time. Even when my blood sugar gets low and I might kill someone for a sandwich. I posted the pics on facebook, but I will try to put a few on here too. Thanks Vegas.

This weekend was super duper fun. Katie and Hal (Mat's old co-worker form Carrier who lived here before and his wife) are moving back. So they came out and stayed at our house while they looked for an apartment. we had a great time. We went to dinner and the casino and really had fun. I am so glad they are moving back out here. Hal is one of Matt's best friends and I really like Katie she is fun. They have a 3 year old little boy who will be coming and the super weenie dog, Flash. They went home on Saturday and on Sunday we went out to sushi for a Easter lunch and then went out in the desert with some of Matt's buddies and shot guns and just messed around.
In 2 days I am going to Vegas with Jess and Katchie. Speaking of Jess it's her birthday today. HAHA she is now 25 and has to feel old like me! At 25 my sister has a great life though so I'm sure she is glad to be this age and have so many good things around her. She has a degree a great job and a pretty good husband, a cute house, and a professional bunny. I am very proud of her and so excited that I get to see her in a few days. I'm sure we will all have some fun pictures to post. See ya then!

Back in bangs...

Thought I would change up the hair a little. More summer feeling. Had a fun weekend. Matt and I and mu friend Jenn all went bowling and then to the casino, we had a great time. But I don't think I ever broke 100! I'm not the best bowler.

Doin' some good

These are the needles I donated to my friend's fundraiser on Saturday. I know her through my knitting group, Stitch N' Bitch. I hope she makes so me good money, she is having at a wine bar downtown. The weather has been so nice this week, I just hope it keeps up until this weekend!

Well it's been a while...

I have been double busy. I am right in the middle of the semester and I have lots of homework and regular work of course. I am almost done with my practicum so that will free up my Wednesday mornings when I'm finished. I helped a friend from school move into her apartment this weekend, last weekend the weather wasn't great so we just rented some movies and stayed home. Next weekend I am extra busy. We have to go finish our taxes, I have a hair appointment after that and then a fund raiser for the leukemia/lymphoma society after that. I am donating a few sets of my knitting needles that I make and maybe a few knitted items. In a few weeks Jess and I are going to Vegas with some friends. We are looking forward to starting our new backyard it will be a few months I think before we can do anything. It is still pretty cold and I'm sure it will snow again in April. Well this update wasn't too exciting but maybe the next one will be!

Also..

I am getting a new niece! In an earlier post I said that I thought Lisa might be having a boy, but that was a change of heart, originally I predicted a girl and I was right. I am very excited that I will have a little girl and a little boy to knit for! We do love out little buddy Fischer and we sure wish we could see him more and now even more since we are going to have 2 buddies. Being an Aunt and Uncle is very important and we take it seriously so living far away is hard. Luckily Fischer's mom Lisa makes sure he knows his Aunt Jana and Uncle Matt love him and think about him and we appreciate that! I am excited to send out his birthday present because it is a little something that will let him be able to communicate with us a little more since he's getting older, but I can't give it away just yet! YOu will have to wait and see!
