Spring Break

On Friday I am flying to Spokane with my sister to see my family up there. We plan on seeing my Dad, going to visit my cousin Kaitlyn in Missoula, who goes to college there, and possibly my cousin Dustin and Andria. We are going to be there for almost 10 days. We rarely get to go for that long so we want to fit in as much as possible. Grama's house is my favorite place ever so going to Washington is always a real treat for me. And I love traveling with my sister. We always have so much fun together. So I will be back on the 21st and I'm sure I will have plenty of pictures. it's sure to be a great spring break!

Snow Day!!!

Mrs. Mueller

That's right, this week was my first week of practicum. I have a 4th grade class, for now anyways, and a 2nd grade reader. It is really fun, but being called Mrs. Mueller is so satisfying and weird all at the same time. I have a hard time getting used tot he Mrs. part, particularly because it makes me feel old. But hearing it makes me feel like a real teacher. And being int he classroom is so much fun and makes me want it even more! I am loving this semester, even though I have had more homework than ever! I get to go through the next 4 semesters with the same 22 people and at first I didn't think it would be so great, but I have to say I really like it. I like being able to see the same people almost everyday and really I am making 22 close friends (as of now, I'm sure I'll have some real stories by the end of this!). Spring break is just around the corner and hopefully I will be going to Washington for a week, as long as I can get the days off. I will really need that break!

Happy Birthday Blog

Guess what as of January ( a little Late I know) this blog is 2 years old! I have 134 posts. I actually have had a blog for longer than that, many of you might remember I had an MSN account that really didn't work so well cause you had to sign in to read it. I saw that one of my sister in laws friends made their blog into a book and I am thinking about that. Maybe every 2 years I can have one made, every year seems like maybe a little overkill and that might pile up in the bookshelf anyways. Also it's close to Valentine's day. Not that we really ever celebrate, I think it's kind of a silly holiday, but I love pink so it's one of my fave's. Let's see what else.... I get to start my practicum next week, that when we get to go to the schools and actually work with kids. I have 3 different schools I will be going to. I am having a little Superbowl party just for funnsies. I did our taxes and we get a refund, so we will be using that to build a deck this summer. annnnd that's it.

Oh ok

here is my post. i have started back to school and I will tell you what, every thing before this was easy street! My education program is very demanding as it should be. I am so happy to be here and so close to my goal! I get to go through classes with the same set of about 25 people for the next 4 semesters. It is both helpful and challenging because I have made some great friends and found out some people are hard to get along and work with! So after I did a ton of reading I made these cards for Valentine's day.


I have more to make. I have really got my craft room set up and I will have to post some pictures. It's very organized and fun! We had a pretty fun weekend. Between my homework we rented some movies and went out with our friends for some bowling.
