Day Three I sleep in!

Ok So today I wasn't able to pull a mile out of the treadmill but I will tonight. Matt got called out at about 12:30AM so he was on the phone and the lights were on and the cats were running around so I was awake now and couldn't go back to sleep. So I stayed up until like 2AM. Matt got home at about 6AM and my alarm went off at 7:30AM and there was no way I was leaving behind my warm bed and cute tired husband for the stinky gym. But I actually went twice yesterday, once in the morning and then again when I got off work so that put me ahead.
I have gathered all my stuff to sell in the yard sale and fills up our den floor. I didn't realize how much crap I hang on to. Like I have a whole grocery bag full of bath and body works lotions and gels and stuff that I have never used. Plus I have a load of clothes that I need to get out of the house. I will use my proceeds to benefit my Vegas Trip fund. Our yard sale is on Sunday and it supposed to be 90! Wowee.
I also already have signed up for all my classes for next semester and had my financial aide processed so hopefully I am all set up for that.

Hello Treadmill..long time no see

OK so by a miracle of Jesus himself I actually dragged my but out of bed early and went to the gym. I ran, yes, ran a mile and did some elliptical. I am going to go everyday this week and next. Try to get in the swing of it. Also I realized I am an awesome wedding planner this weekend. I helped my friend find a dress for $99! Can you believe it. She has a tight wedding budget but seriously it is still so fun to help her. I am pretty sure that wedding planning is my calling, but I'm not quiting my day job anytime soon, if you know what I mean. I have my last final tonight and them I'm done. I don't have to go back until August 25th. We've had a vacation snag though. Matt doesn't get his days off until the last week in August, the same time I have to go back to school. It's a real bummer, I don't know what we will do at this point. We are hoping to go back to Utah for memorial day and maybe take a day or two extra there. This weekend was pretty warm and nice. I am doing a yard sale this Saturday with my friend at work so I deep cleaned my closet.deficit

what a busy little weekend

This weekend was just really nice. The weather was perfect except for a little rain on Sunday. On Saturday we met up with our friends Chris and Jazzy. Matt works with Chris at the the shop they share with another company. They are a pretty fun couple. They have a 18 month old son who is just a doll. He has blond curly hair and is an little angle. We went up to Virginia City to see the chili cookout. It was kind of a bust though because by the time we got there most the chili was gone. But we had a good time anyhow. After that we went out lunch and then to the movies. It was pretty fun. Sunday was a little rainy and I had a paper I had to write so we stayed home. Matt actually ended up having to go all the way to Tahoe to work but since it was ice out side he didn't mind. I am done with finals next week. I have 3 on Thursday and then one next Monday. then I will be free free free. I will go back to my 10-54 hours at work which will hopefully give me time to start working out in the mornings. It has been really nice this week so far at 75 yesterday and about 80 today.

USGS Site

I add the the USGS site so that you can see the earthquakes that are happening. It is pretty interesting to just click around and see whats going on in the united states or even the world.

Beautiful Weekend

We had a busy weekend. It was so nice, about 70+ both days. So we headed out to shoot Matt's new gun, a USP .45. It's pretty cool and mean looking. It is the same gun the navy seals use. Very cool. We also made over our little patio. We got rid of all the garbage that had piled up during winter. Matt got me some hanging plants and I filled my flower pots. It looks very nice and inviting. We ate breakfast out there thismoring.

Pretty Little Flowers in my pots

Flower pots on the patio

New hanging plants. It looks pretty nice out there.

An array of bullets. Matt's gun shoots the shiney brass one.

Whoa! She kicks like a mule!!

Matt's new gun.

I found this little horse in the dirt.

Earthquake that is. It happened on Friday night. We were at a friends house and felt it. They live about 10 miles north of us and the epicenter for the earthquakes are about 5 miles east of us. So when we felt it pretty good there we knew it had to be worse at our place. This was about 12 at night. When we got home the neighbor lady came out as we were unlocking the door. She was scared and wanted to make sure the cats were ok. She is cute. Some of my glass candle holders had fallen off and glass was everywhere. A picture from fell down and broke also. All the candles on top of the tv were on the floor. I am actually really glad we were not here when it happened or I really would have been freaked out. After that we decided that we should be prepared. So at like 1:30 in the morning we went to walmart and got water and candles and granola bars just in case. There were a few minor aftershocks that we felt Saturday morning but so far it has been quiet. Hopefully it stays that way.
